THE LOCATION

The site for the proposed new centre is on Bexton Road. This is preferred by KMP and both independent consultant reports. Indeed the report from Durrow Consulting in 2012 concluded that the existing community hospital site is the 'only credible' option for Knutsford. Their proposed plan from 2012 is shown below (however new demands could well change this design).

Note that the plan could incorporate the Community Hospital and the adjacent Bexton Court plus the Stanley Centre

This places the building in a town centre location close to the bus station and with overspill parking available at Booths supermarket
